STEPHANIE STAMM, BA, JD
I am the daughter of Chilean immigrants and a native Calgarian. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Justice Studies at Mount Royal College and earned my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa Law School, common law section, in 2014, before moving to Toronto to complete my articles with Animal Justice Canada and Wright Business Law. During my articles, I worked on all manners of business, civil, criminal, municipal and administrative matters, in addition to policy research, lobbying and fundraising initiatives. I am the co-author of a text book on animal-related laws across Canada, currently in preparation for publication. I remain one of two Animal Justice Canada representatives in Alberta.
I returned to Calgary and joined HD Law Group in August 2015, where I currently assist Ryan Hager and Jason Demers on a wide range of solicitor and barrister work. I am a past member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and currently a practising member of the Law Society of Alberta. My practice focuses on real estate, property, municipal law, wills and estates, and, of course, animal-related issues.
