STEFANIE STAMM CARRASCO, BA, JD
Stefanie is HD Law Group’s Spanish-speaking lawyer and has been with the firm since its early days in 2015. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law in 2014, then moved to Toronto to complete her articles with Animal Justice Canada. There, she worked on a range of animal law issues and gained experience in policy research, lobbying, and fundraising initiatives. Stefanie remains one of two Animal Justice Canada representatives in Alberta.
Stefanie currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association and is working to help build a stronger network of lawyers within the Hispanic community.
Her practice covers a wide range of solicitor matters, including corporate governance, commercial transactions, real estate transactions, and wills and estates. Stefanie is known for practical, solutions-focused advice and strong advocacy in negotiating agreements for her clients.
Outside the office, Stefanie is passionate about animals and sports and is an avid soccer player. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband, two daughters, three rescue dogs, and a rescued cat. As the daughter of Chilean immigrants and a proud Calgarian, Stefanie has strong ties to Calgary’s Hispanic community and is pleased to assist clients in Spanish.
