KAROLINA SIMKUTE
Karolina is a litigation associate at HD Law Group. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary, she obtained her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. Although she enjoyed her time in beautiful British Columbia, she ultimately returned to Calgary, Alberta, which she will always call home.
During her time with HD Law Group, Karolina has gained valuable experience across a range of practice areas while developing a particular interest in criminal law. She has appeared before both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, which has allowed her to strengthen her skills in courtroom advocacy and deepen her appreciation for a client-focused approach. While Karolina values her work in civil matters, she intends to focus her practice primarily on criminal defence and continue developing her skills as an advocate in this area.
When Karolina is not in the office, she enjoys exploring local Italian restaurants, shopping, travelling, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
